How orks work?

Can anyone explain how orks work? I've been playing them and it gets me annoyed when I can't get units that I should be able to get!!

You need:
aquisition to get Waagh banner
Waagh banners to get more basic orks
a smeg load of orks and waagh banners to get the bigger and better beasties and advance your army.


Don't worry, I don't get it either ...

well I just played an 8pl game with orks (I always choose 8pl for some reason...) and had an army of 80 odd orks, 10 nobs, a warboss and a squiggoth running through each base....

Don't like how they play though. Not as easy to win with as eldar or even marines.

I'll have a ago at chaos next.

Yeah orks are hard to play but to me it really does suit the fluff that I have read of them, which is good as I consider myself a very fluff driven person :). It was a bit of a shock though when I first played them and found out how different they are to play than anything else. But I like the change, I reckon it's rather cool. ;D

yeah, orks are undoubtedly the best race there, if you can use them. But... i still prefer eldar
